GameRanger is a platform (sort of) for playing classic/discontinued LAN Multiplayer supported games. It uses the game's LAN Multiplayer functionality and serves it as online mode allowing you to play LAN Multiplayer with your buddy, who might be living far away. It currently supports around 500 games which are listed here. You can join existing rooms or create a new one. Rooms can be public or can be made private with a password.
